Fight, fight, fight 👊🗽 with 170” of snow this winter I bet the residents of the area are appreciative that they have reliable, traditional electricity generation in place. The great GREEN STEAL!
I know I am glad that we still have reliable energy sources. It's unfortunate, however, that our major utilities are still planning to to shut down reliable energy sources and (try to) replace them with unreliable and expensive wind and solar.
They've paused the plan to log this particular piece of state forest to clear room for solar panels. But they need to cover more than 200,000 acres with wind/solar to meet their net-zero goals, so we're just starting to see the plans for many thousands of new solar developments.
I hope the IRA and IIJA spending freeze will slow down some of this waste. However, court cases are ongoing that could restart the spending at any moment.

It’s all about the subsidies and green grift. Article on Saturday by Energy Bad Boys summarized it perfectly.
Isaac and Mitch do great work.
You know, if the left was opposed to solar panels and windmills they’d be sabotaging them. Blowing them up. Just sayin’
Back in the day, they used to call that sort of thing "monkey-wrenching" and were quite proud of themselves for doing that. Heck, Biden's Director of the BLM, Tracy Stone-Manning, was involved with that sort of eco-terrorist activity in the late 80s. https://nypost.com/2021/06/16/biden-land-management-nominee-collaborated-with-eco-terrorists-traded-testimony-for-immunity/
Stop the madness!
This is an environmental disaster and economic insanity! 😡
