The office I talked to in Lansing was not the DNR, I was not told that solar was off the table in MI, only that deforestation for solar has been put on hold for all the reason you said and that I tried to convey. I am still calling other agencies like the DNR to file objections and sending emails. anyway, thank you
I started a petition it is pinned to my profile I don’t know else to do besides try and get thousands of signatures, download them and send it off to Matt Hall and the DNR
It’s going to be hard to fight thru the climate craziness. If solar and wind actually were effective, there could be an honest debate. But they are so unreliable and incredibly expensive, it makes no sense to push them on to a fragile grid. When there is not reliable power, there will be a regime change and it will take a lot to get it turned around. So many coal generation plants have been shut down and then dismantled. It’s climate madness without understanding the true consequences of trying to go net zero and have a reliable grid from “renewable energy “. Truly insane!

Unfortunately, this is likely to get worse before it can get better. I hope we don't have to endure blackouts before people get upset about the dangers of net zero mandates, but I am still getting ready for them.
Would an actual petition signed by thousands have any impact on this? An official petition generated through Change.org that allows for electronic signatures and only our contact base to attain them? Just wondering if its too old school or too late for this issue
