Tariffs in reverse? A great strategy to drive industry out of state or possibly out of country when the current administration is trying to bring industry back perhaps?
Deliberately targeting your state's energy industry seems dangerously out of touch with reality. I can understand it from Nessel in Michigan (I disagree, but I get it) because Nessel is a dedicated woke warrior. She has worked from her first days on the campaign trail to attack Michigan's energy industry, regardless of the damage she knows it will cause. But, it's very odd to see Louisiana's attack, especially when you realize that the industry is the primary funding source for coastal restoration efforts. They're cutting off their nose to spite their face.
